This was my entry for the The New Yorker's 2010 Eustace Tilley cover contest. I didn't win, but I sure enjoyed creating this illustration. My entry's caption:
"In order to face our fast-paced modern world with all its tribulations, a buttoned-up dandy like Eustace Tilley might benefit from herbal medicinal treatment."
Here are the actual winners, darn them all.
ilustração lindíssima! parabéns!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Oscar! Obrigado!
ReplyDeleteThis is totally cool! What do you use to draw with?
ReplyDeleteHi Emily, thanks. :) I drew this with india ink brush pens and the small lines with micron pens, then I scanned it all in and colored it digitally with Photoshop.
